1인칭 시점을 하나님 시선으로 바꾸자

서울과 수도권에서 살아가는 여러분, 혹시 자신의 문제가 무엇인지 아십니까?
바로 시선이 지나치게 일인칭 관점에만 고정되어 있다는 것입니다.

고통받고, 어려움을 당하고, 원수를 만나고, 뺨을 맞는 상황에서도 마찬가지입니다.
누군가 억지로 5리를 가자고 하거나, 
내가 남보다 더 잘되어 우쭐대고 싶고, 우월감을 느끼며 더 높은 곳에 오르고 싶어 할 때도
오직 일인칭 시점으로만 바라봅니다.

그러나 믿음은 우리 삶을 객관적으로 조망하게 만듭니다.
하나님의 시선으로 자신을 바라보게 합니다.

누군가 내 오른뺨을 때렸다고 가정해 봅시다.
'아프다. 두 배로 세게 되갚아 주어야지.' 이것이 일인칭 시점입니다.

하지만 맞았을 때, 누군가 억지로 오 리를 가자고 할 때, 속옷을 달라고 할 때,
이 상황을 하나님의 시점에서 조망하면 이렇게 묻게 됩니다.
'혹시 하나님께서 나에게 원하시는 바가 있지 않을까?'
'하나님, 저는 어떻게 살아야 합니까?'
'하나님, 혹시 여기에 소명이 있는 것은 아닙니까?'
'주님, 제 시간과 돈, 재능과 모든 것을 가지고 하나님께서 원하시는 계획이 있으십니까?'
'하나님, 저에게 알려 주십시오.'

우리는 은혜의 법칙으로 내 삶을 하나님이라는 연출가가 원하는 배우의 역할로 살아갈 수 있습니다.

그러므로 여러분,
여러분 각자의 삶 자리에 있는 원수들을 찾아보십시오.
여러분의 뺨을 때리는 사람, 겉옷과 속옷을 달라고 하는 사람, 억지로 5리를 가자고 하는 사람들을 찾으십시오.
그들 가운데서 소명을 발견하고, 소명에 각성하여 하나님의 은혜 법칙으로 살아가는 우리 모두가 되기를 주님의 이름으로 축복합니다.

우리 안에서 선한 일을 시작하신 하나님께서 반드시 이루실 것입니다.
나는 상처받아도 사랑하기를 포기하지 않겠습니다.
누군가 나를 배신하고 등에 칼을 꽂을지라도, 나는 다시 내 마음과 자존심을 누군가에게 내어주겠습니다.
그렇게 걸어가다 보면, 내가 꿈꾸는 그분의 나라가 우리 모두에게 임할 것을 믿습니다.

Seeing through God's eyes : Are you Stuck in a First-Person Perspective?

To those living in Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan areas—do you recognize the real problem you're facing?

 

It’s this: your perspective is too often locked in the first person.

Even in times of pain, hardship, betrayal, or injustice—when someone wrongs you, insults you, or forces their will upon you—your point of view rarely leaves your own eyes. 

When you're tempted by success or feel superior to others, you still look at everything from your own angle.

But faith changes how we see.

Faith invites us to view life through God's eyes. 
It lifts us out of our own limited narrative and gives us a panoramic view of our story in light of His purpose.

Let’s imagine someone slaps you on the right cheek.
From a first-person view, your thoughts might be, "That hurt. I need to hit back twice as hard." That’s human instinct, rooted in self-preservation.

But when you see the same situation from God's perspective, your questions change:
"God, is there something You want to teach me through this?"
"Lord, how should I live in this moment?"
"Is there a calling hidden in this injustice?"
"God, are You asking me to trust You with my time, money, talents—even in this?"
"Please, Lord, show me Your purpose."

When we live by the principle of grace, we become actors in a story directed by God Himself.

So, friends, take a good look at your own life.
Who are the "enemies" around you?
Who slaps your cheek, asks for your cloak and tunic, or forces you to walk a mile you didn’t choose?
Among them may lie your calling.
May you awaken to that calling, and may we all live under the law of grace, not retaliation.
I bless you in the name of the Lord.

The God who began a good work in us will surely bring it to completion.
Even if I get hurt, I will not stop loving.
Even if I am betrayed, I will continue to give my heart away.
And as I keep walking this path, 
I believe the Kingdom I dream of—the Kingdom He dreams of—will come to us all.
